Great! Go to https://santosha.org/booking-request-bali-2025 and submit a booking request. You will make a deposit of $499 to hold your place. Rooms are reserved on a first-deposit-first-served basis. Due to the popularity of these offerings, we cannot spots in the interim.

Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS, also known as Denpasar International Airport in Bali). Private drivers from our villa will collect you from DPS on Day 1 and drop you off on Day 7. Airport transportation (excluding gratuity) is included in your retreat. Depending on where you’re flying from, you may find additional options if you fly into Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), which is the main airport in Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta. Be aware that Jakarta is on the island of Java, not Bali, so you will need to arrange a separate flight to DPS.

No driving needed! Our villa is only a five minute drive from the best beaches in Bali. Transportation in the villa’s car by its private driver is available throughout our stay. You can rent bicycles easily, too. The villa’s drivers will take us on three Santosha-organized excursions; for additional excursions, the villa staff can help coordinate transportation which you’ll pay for directly. Seminiyak is at the heart of Bali, so the location could not be better.

Ideal! May marks the beginning of the dry summer months in Bali; temperatures range from 75-90 degrees Fahrenheit, with low humidity compared to the rest of the year. It’s a tropical climate, so there’s always a chance for rain, but it typically passes quickly. The biggest crush of the tourist season doesn’t happen until July and August. Between the weather and the timing of the tourist season, it’s the best time to be in Bali.

Absolutely not. If you’ve been to Santosha at Hillholm Estate before, you know how we roll: choose your own adventure. Join excursions or skip them. Sleep in through yoga class. Go adventuring farther afield. Do whatever will feel most rejuvenating to your heart and soul. Remember: this is your retreat, not ours.

Absolutely yes. In advance of your retreat, we will collect pertinent information from you, including dietary preferences, and we will pass those along to our chefs. You’re in good hands, just like at Santosha.

Your retreat is non-refundable, just like retreats at Hillholm. However: we’re not looking to profit off anyone’s misfortune. If we’re able to fill your spot with someone else at the same rate, we’ll provide a credit you to use for a Holistic Retreat at Santosha within six months of your scheduled international retreat. If we’re unable to fill your spot with someone else, we’re unable to provide any credit. That’s why we HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing travel insurance for your trip.

No more than 14 yogis will join us in Bali for this retreat. We like to keep things intimate, not overwhelming.

Tell us in your booking request whether you would be interested in extending your stay. If we have enough demand, we will add a second week of retreat to the first one.

This retreat is not open to children under the age of 16, although if you’re interested in family-friendly retreats, let us know and we’ll consider it for future retreats.

Our villa has high-speed wireless internet, plenty of spaces to use for calls and work, and a generator in case of power failure. Many cell phone carriers have international packages so you can use your phone abroad, too. Contact your carrier for details.
