“I WENT TO THE WOODS BECAUSE I WISHED TO LIVE DELIBERATELY, TO FRONT ONLY THE ESSENTIAL FACTS OF LIFE, AND SEE IF I COULD NOT LEARN WHAT IT HAD TO TEACH, AND NOT, WHEN I CAME TO DIE, DISCOVER THAT I HAD NOT LIVED.” - HENRY DAVID THOREAU
Here at Hillholm, we believe deeply that modern humankind’s estrangement from nature is a leading cause of societal restlessness, malaise, and disconnection from one another. By mindfully choosing to bask in the glow of Mama Nature’s beauty—whether deep in the Maine woods among sweet conifers or toeing the edge of our sandy rivers—we reconnect with our essential roots. We are quick and hasty; nature is slow, deliberate. Invigorate yourself—mind, body, and soul—in the great outdoors.
GO PLAY OUTSIDE.

-
Wade out for a morning of fly fishing.

Ride the Narrow Gauge Pathway gravel trails or blast down some slopes on your mountain bike.
