Our 1895 Gilded Age Estate slopes gracefully down to the shores of the wild Carrabassett River among Maine’s western mountains. We offer year round, full-service retreat space, featuring:

  • 20 private and elegantly appointed guest rooms, freshly renovated and air conditioned, each with its own ensuite washroom, luxury towels and bedding, and bespoke amenities and sundries, totaling 26 beds:

    • The Main House: 4 guest rooms with king beds

    • The Carriage House: 10 guest rooms with queen beds and 6 rooms with two double beds each

    • Maximum occupancy: 40+

    • Many rooms are dog-friendly (which our guests love!)

    • Comfy cots available and overflow accommodations for staff located nearby

  • Maine pine-lined Yoga Shala built with love by local builders and artisans

    • Manduka equipment for 28 practitioners, including mats, blocks, bricks, straps, bolsters, meditation cushions, eye pillows, blankets, chairs, etc.

    • Air-conditioned; can also be heated for hot yoga and Pilates classes (seasonal)

    • Long views down to the pine forest and Carrabassett River

  • Full-service Prohibition Era cocktail and mocktail bar, featuring Maine craft beers, interesting wines, curious cocktails, and a full complement of non-alcoholic spirits for mocktails: everyone has a seat at our bar

  • Commercial kitchen run by our expert culinary staff, with a focus on farm-to-table, local, and organic menus made with sustainably sourced Maine ingredients

    • Meals served family-style and accommodate all dietary needs of participants

    • Flexible dining plans with up to 4(!) meals per day

    • Maine lobster bake and other specialty offerings can be customized for your retreat

  • Formal dining room with seating for 40+, which can be divided into two halves for simultaneous programs
