SANTOSHAWAY IS PROUD TO INTRODUCE

BOWING TO SPIRIT:
A Shakti Embodiment Retreat with Rev. Gurdeep Bhogal

Yogini, Spiritualist Minister, Certified Medium, and Reiki Master Teacher

Are you a spiritual practitioner, yoga teacher, psychotherapist, medicine journey facilitator or practitioner, or energy medicine practitioner? Working with the medicine of tantric yoga, embodied practice, intentional ritual, tantric meditation, sacred sonic practice, mantra, trance mediumship, and creative expression, join us for a winter weekend to expand your practice and awareness to bring more depth and intuitive awareness to your work, practice, and life. Take away practical and effective spiritual tools to apply to your work and life. Centered on the profound devotional tantric text the Sri Sundarya Lahari, this is a journey to embody and express the wholeness of Spirit through the wisdom  and presence of the Goddess.

Mantras are capsules of potent energy which can be exploded within the deep recesses of the mind through japa, or continuous repetition of the sound. These sounds are not names of God, but forms of energy which can catapult one into different levels of awareness.

  • Our retreat venue is conveniently located only 90 minutes from Boston and is easily accessible by car. Retreatants will provide their own transportation.

  • No driving needed! All programming will take place on site at the estate.

  • In the heart of winter, the villages of Cape Cod are sleepy and peaceful. We’ll stay cozy indoors for all our programming (unless you fancy a cold plunge in the Atlantic to wake up your soul!)

  • Absolutely yes! We pride ourselves on teaching all levels of student, including folks with varying levels of experience, physical mobility, and otherwise. Our small group sizes allow us to customize our practices for all bodies in the room.

  • Nope! Most retreatants travel solo, so you’ll be in good company.

  • No, they’re more than welcome to join for as much or as little of the programming as they like. The spacious estate allows plenty of breathing room for everyone. They can spend the day exploring local towns, cafes, and beach-walking before joining us for meals.

  • Absolutely not: choose your own adventure. Join programming or skip it. Sleep in through yoga class. Go adventuring farther afield. Do whatever will feel most rejuvenating to your heart and soul. Remember: this is your retreat, not ours.

  • Absolutely yes. In advance of your retreat, we will collect pertinent information from you, including dietary preferences, and we will pass those along to our chefs. You’re in good hands.

  • Your retreat is non-refundable. However: we’re not looking to profit off anyone’s misfortune. If we’re able to fill your spot with someone else at the same rate, we’ll provide a credit for you to use for a Holistic Retreat at Santosha within six months of your scheduled Cape retreat. If we’re unable to fill your spot with someone else, we’re unable to provide any credit. That’s why we HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing travel insurance for your trip.

  • No more than 8 yogis will join us for this retreat. We like to keep things intimate, not overwhelming.

  • This retreat is not open to children under the age of 18, although if you’re interested in family-friendly retreats, let us know and we’ll consider it for future retreats.

  • The estate has high-speed wireless internet and plenty of spaces to use for calls and work.

  • No problem. Email reservations@santosha.org with questions.
